Saleshandy Competitors: Replace the Failed Requirement
Summarize with AI
The right Saleshandy competitors shortlist depends on the requirement that failed. Instantly is the clearest test when uploaded-contact or send volume is the constraint. Smartlead deserves a test when client workspaces and private sending infrastructure matter. Lemlist is the stronger candidate when LinkedIn, calling, SMS, or hands-on rep workflows are load-bearing. None is a default upgrade; compare the same workload and migrate only after the candidate reproduces the control you need.
Match Saleshandy Competitors to the Failed Requirement
Start with the failure record, not a grid of logos. Saleshandy's current pricing page combines outreach, Lead Finder credits, unlimited connected email accounts, warm-up, a unified inbox, client management, API access, and plan-specific CRM integrations. A replacement that solves one complaint may unbundle three capabilities the team still uses.
| Failed requirement | First replacement to test | Why it belongs on the shortlist |
|---|---|---|
| More uploaded contacts or monthly sends at a similar entry point | Instantly | Its outreach plans expose contact and send limits directly |
| Client workspaces or private infrastructure need a different operating model | Smartlead | Its pricing matrix makes clients/workspaces and private infrastructure explicit comparison fields |
| LinkedIn, calls, SMS, or rep tasks must sit in the same sequence | lemlist | Its Multichannel plan is built around several outreach channels |
| CRM writes fail or duplicate | Fix the integration design first | A new sender can reproduce the same field-authority defect |
| Team has no operator for replies, suppression, and monitoring | Managed operation | Another platform adds migration without adding ownership |
Write one sentence that would prove each failure resolved. "Better deliverability" is too broad. "A disconnected sender is removed without pausing the other nine, and the owner receives an alert within the agreed window" is testable.
Use One Equivalent Workload
Do not compare each vendor's most flattering meter. Build one monthly workload and ask every candidate to price it:
- Connected and actively rotated email accounts
- New and concurrent prospects, with stored prospects counted separately
- First touches and follow-up sends
- Verified work emails and phone numbers required
- Users, roles, teams, and client workspaces, including reply-handling and unified-inbox users
- CRM objects, fields, writes, and workflow runs
- Global and client-specific suppression records
- Domains, mailboxes, warm-up, and inbox-placement tests
- Operator hours for setup, monitoring, recovery, and reporting
Saleshandy distinguishes unlimited connected accounts from rotation limits of 10 on Starter, 100 on Pro, and 1,000 on Scale. It also distinguishes unlimited prospect storage from 2,000 active prospects on Starter, 30,000 on Pro, and unlimited on Scale. Preserve those distinctions when a competitor uses uploaded contacts, storage, leads, or another label.
The same applies to data. Saleshandy says one Lead Finder credit reveals a verified work email and six reveal a found phone number. A competitor's "verified emails" allowance is not equivalent until the status definition and retry treatment are understood and the source evidence is reviewed.
Test Instantly When Volume Is the Failure
Instantly's official pricing page currently lists Growth at $47 per month with 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 monthly emails. Hypergrowth is $97 per month with 25,000 uploaded contacts and 125,000 monthly emails. Light Speed is $358 per month with 100,000 uploaded contacts and 500,000 monthly emails. The page lists unlimited email accounts and warm-up across the outreach plans.
That makes Hypergrowth a useful challenger to Saleshandy Pro when the complaint is send volume. Saleshandy Pro is $99 on monthly billing with 30,000 active prospects and 100,000 emails per month. Instantly exposes more monthly sends at a nearby subscription price, while Saleshandy exposes a larger prospect number under a different definition and includes Lead Finder credits in the plan.
Do not call that a winner from the table. Uploaded contacts and active prospects may count different states. Price the same live campaign and ask when paused, finished, duplicated, and archived records count. Add data sourcing or verification if the Instantly outreach subscription does not cover the same accepted-record workload.
Test these conditions in parallel:
- Ten representative senders with the same daily settings
- One sequence containing first touches and later follow-ups
- A disconnected mailbox and a provider-throttled mailbox
- A positive reply, a negative reply, an out-of-office response, and an unsubscribe
- A global suppression added after a message has been scheduled
- The CRM record, event history, suppression state, and export produced afterward
Use our Instantly setup guide to define the implementation work instead of treating signup as migration.
Test Smartlead When Client Operations Are the Failure
Smartlead's official pricing page presents clients/workspaces, private infrastructure, CRM access, API and webhooks, warm-up pool, contact storage, sends, and verified emails as separate comparison fields. On the annual view checked September 16, 2026, the page displayed Base at $32 per month equivalent for 2,000 contacts, 6,000 sends, and 2,000 verified emails; Pro at $78 for 30,000 contacts, 90,000 sends, and 30,000 verified emails; Unlimited Smart at $144 for unlimited contacts, 150,000 sends, and 50,000 verified emails; and Unlimited Prime at $315 for unlimited contacts, 500,000 sends, and 170,000 verified emails.
Smartlead belongs on the shortlist when send volume is not the main dispute. Test the number and isolation of included client workspaces, then determine whether private infrastructure changes operations. Its live matrix also shows workspace and infrastructure items that vary by plan or add-on. Because those rows are dynamic, capture the selected tier and every included or paid workspace in the quote rather than inferring entitlement from the plan name.
Saleshandy's current table displays Unlimited Clients across its standard plans, while its client-management documentation says client additions follow plan allowances. That mismatch is a reason to get the Saleshandy entitlement clarified before migrating. A contract correction may solve the problem without moving sender history and suppression data.
For a real client-management test, create two clients with overlapping prospect domains. Give one client narrow access and the other broader access. Associate different mailboxes, sequences, replies, reports, CRM fields, and suppression lists. Confirm that neither can view, export, edit, or send against the other's data. Then remove a user and export the access evidence.
Our Smartlead setup guide can anchor the migration checklist, but the client's actual permission matrix remains the acceptance record.
Test Lemlist When Multichannel Execution Is the Failure
Lemlist's official pricing page currently lists Email from $55 per user per month and Multichannel from $87 per user per month, with Enterprise custom-priced. The page describes outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp, and SMS, and its comparison table lists CRM connections including HubSpot and Salesforce, with Pipedrive also listed.
This is the relevant replacement when the failed requirement is rep-led multichannel execution. Saleshandy's current plan table lists multichannel sequences across email, call, WhatsApp, and tasks, so the candidate must win on the exact channel behavior the team could not operate, not on the word "multichannel." If automated LinkedIn steps, manual task ownership, in-app calling, or CRM-side rep workflow is the deciding condition, write it into the test.
Per-user pricing also changes the workload comparison. Count authors, reviewers, reply owners, managers, and guests. Determine who needs a paid seat and who can operate with restricted access. Then include the email and phone lookup credits needed for the same accepted contacts.
Run one sequence with every required channel. Record task assignment, timing, failure visibility, opt-out behavior, reply ownership, CRM writes, and reporting. If the team mostly sends email from centrally managed mailboxes, the multichannel plan may add cost and operating steps without solving a material failure.
Our lemlist setup guide covers the broader configuration path.
Treat Integration Failure as Its Own Diagnosis
A duplicate CRM record or missing reply status is not proof that the sending platform must be replaced. The same applies to a bad owner assignment. Document the existing write path first:
| Control | Evidence to capture |
|---|---|
| Field authority | Which system may create, fill, overwrite, or clear each field |
| Identity key | Email, CRM ID, domain, or another key used for matching |
| Event boundary | Send, reply, unsubscribe, outcome change, or scheduled sync |
| Retry behavior | Whether a failed write retries or requires replay, and whether either path creates a duplicate |
| Error evidence | Request, response, timestamp, owner, and correction |
| Removal | What happens to credentials and workflows, including related fields, at uninstall |
Saleshandy's execution-log documentation says Pro and higher plans expose node-level request and response data for executed workflows. It also says a failed execution cannot be rerun from the log and that retention and export depend on plan. Use those facts to test the current system before blaming the product.
Our view: if the team cannot reproduce the failure on one named record, it is not ready to switch platforms. Migration hides weak evidence; it does not repair the operating rule that created it.
Run the Replacement in Parallel
Keep the outgoing and candidate platforms connected to a controlled set of different sender accounts. Use the same audience definition, message, schedule window, and suppression inputs. Write their CRM results to separate fields or a comparison table you control.
Measure operating evidence rather than a dashboard total:
- Intended messages versus messages actually sent
- Provider deferrals, disconnects, bounces, and suppressed sends
- Replies correctly detected and associated
- Prospects stopped after reply or unsubscribe
- CRM writes accepted, rejected, duplicated, and delayed
- Operator minutes required for monitoring and recovery
- Client access or data-separation failures
- Export completeness and reconciliation time
Do not compare reply rates from materially different audiences or infrastructure. The replacement test is about the requirement that failed. It is not a general claim that one product creates better prospects.
Settle Migration, Renewal, and Export Before Notice
Inventory sequences, variants, prospects, custom fields, senders, schedules, client associations, users, permissions, CRM rules, webhooks, suppression lists, conversations, outcomes, reports, and audit evidence. Mark each item as exported, rebuilt, archived, or intentionally retired.
Saleshandy's Do Not Contact documentation distinguishes global and client-specific lists and documents CSV export. Its export-control guide describes broad export paths but notes that its team controls do not apply to agency or client users. Confirm who can export each dataset before opening a migration window.
Check the Saleshandy renewal date and notice terms against the parallel test. Obtain the replacement's selected plan, add-ons, minimum term, renewal rule, migration support, and overage treatment in writing. Allow an overlap period in the budget without letting two systems write the same CRM fields.
Choose the candidate only if it resolves the named failure at an acceptable total operating cost and preserves the controls the team still needs. Frequently Asked Questions
A modern outbound stack includes: data enrichment (Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo), email infrastructure (Google Workspace, custom domains), sending tools (Smartlead, Instantly), warm-up services (Warmbox), LinkedIn automation (Expandi, Dripify), CRM integration (HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics platforms. Most agencies use 15–30 tools orchestrated together.
Building your own stack costs $3K–5K/month in software alone, plus a dedicated person to manage it. With a managed service, you get all the tooling plus the expertise to orchestrate it, often at lower total cost. The key question: can you afford to spend 6–8 weeks setting up instead of generating pipeline?
There's no single 'best' tool. It depends on your volume, budget, and integration needs. Smartlead and Instantly are popular for high-volume sending. Apollo doubles as a data and sequencing platform. The real advantage comes from how tools are orchestrated together, not from any single tool choice.
Look for three things: (1) Do you own the infrastructure they build? (2) Are they month-to-month once proven, or hiding behind a long contract? (3) Can you see transparent metrics and real case studies with specific numbers? Avoid long contracts, vague reporting, and agencies that own your domains.
Data enrichment is the process of taking basic company or contact data and adding layers of detail: job titles, direct emails, phone numbers, technographics, intent signals, company size, funding stage, and more. Enrichment tools like Apollo, Clay, and ZoomInfo pull from multiple data sources to build a complete prospect profile before outreach begins.
