Case study · Globental · Cold email How Globental booked 100+ meetings with 27 straight weeks of positive replies

Globental places Latin American professionals, from executive assistants to developers, in Spanish companies for one flat monthly fee. The owners of those companies are not out looking for that, so the demand had to be created: cold email, in Spanish, to businesses that had never heard of Globental.

01Every week

A positive reply every week since March

The first five months were a test. Before Globental had sending infrastructure of its own, campaigns ran on LeadHaste's in short bursts, with long pauses in between.

On 19 March 2026 Globental's own infrastructure went live. Every week since has produced at least one positive reply: 27 in a row as of 22 September 2026, and still going.

Positive replies per week across every Globental campaign, 6 October 2025 to 14 September 2026, from Smartlead. Short grey ticks mark paused weeks in which no positive reply came in.
02Context

A good offer that nobody was searching for

Globental finds, vets and places Latin American professionals with European companies, starting in Spain. A shortlist arrives within ten days, the professional is paid directly, and Globental charges one flat monthly fee that starts only when the hire does.

The buyer is the owner or manager of a Spanish company with 2 to 200 staff, often a founder still running the calendar and the inbox personally. Few people in that seat are out looking for a hiring partner in Latin America, so the conversation has to be started for them.

So we started with one country. There was appetite to open Germany, Italy and France early, but a second market only makes sense once the first one works. When the UK, Ireland and Denmark were tested in August 2026, they produced 2 positive replies from about 4,800 leads, so Spain still gets nearly all the volume. Those tests are included in every total on this page.

The people who run LeadHaste are also co-owners of Globental.

03What we built

The system behind a steady week

01

Infrastructure set up for Globental

50 domains and 100 mailboxes, warmed before launch, first live on 19 March 2026 and rebuilt in June. Around 1,500 emails a working day, and no open tracking.

02

A map of the market

Spanish companies with 2 to 200 staff, leaving out non-profits, government, education and public bodies: about 200,000 businesses. Nearly every lead contacted so far works at one of them.

03

Test small, then scale

18 campaigns so far. The first three angles ran on about 400 leads each, and only the angles that earned replies got real volume. The one behind most of the positive replies, an executive assistant for the founder who is doing everything, has been through seven versions.

04

One sender, replies answered in the thread

Emails go out under the name of Globental's sales lead. Questions get straight answers in the same thread, and interested replies are offered a one-page guide, then a call.

04The step up

After the June rebuild, positive replies a week nearly doubled

15 weeks before · 16 Mar to 28 Jun 2026
5.1
Positive replies a week
0.9 per 1,000 emails · range 1 to 23 a week · 5,781 emails a week
12 weeks after · 29 Jun to 20 Sep 2026
9.8
Positive replies a week
1.4 per 1,000 emails · range 4 to 20 a week · 7,002 emails a week

Two things changed in the last week of June, and we credit them together: the sending infrastructure was rebuilt, and the emails moved to the sales lead's own name. The cleanest test is three emails that ran word for word on both setups. On the old one, 0.79% of 4,701 leads replied. On the new one, 2.10% of 11,706.

Both windows open with a launch week, which flatters the weekly average on each side. That is why the rate per 1,000 emails sits beside it: 0.9 positive replies per 1,000 emails before the rebuild, 1.4 after.

05The number we steer by

Leads to positive: 445 to 1

Every campaign is measured on one ratio: how many leads it takes to produce one positive reply. Across 18 campaigns and 108,629 leads, Globental's is 445 to 1. The two largest campaigns ran at 363 and 365.

The ratio moves from campaign to campaign, from 258 on the best to over 2,000 on the weakest, which is why weak campaigns get paused rather than scaled. On the lifetime ratio, the arithmetic for the next 10,000 leads looks like this:

10,000
More leads contacted
About 22
Positive replies
About 9
Meetings

Positive replies on the lifetime ratio of 445 to 1. Meetings from Globental's own records: 100+ meetings from 244 positive replies. Arithmetic on past results, not a promise.

06What we learned

Five lessons from 18 campaigns

  1. 01

Judge an outbound system by its worst week. Since March, Globental's worst week still produced a positive reply.

  2. 02

Treat infrastructure as a lever. The same three emails drew 2.10% replies on rebuilt infrastructure under the sales lead's name, against 0.79% before.

  3. 03

Prove one market before opening the next. Spain came first, and when the UK, Ireland and Denmark were tested in August, Spain still carried the results.

  4. 04

Give a new angle a small list first. Only the angles that earned replies were scaled.

  5. 05

Steer by leads to positive. These campaigns do not track opens at all.
