Wiza Chrome Extension: Profile Reveal, Credits, and CRM Handoff
Summarize with AI
The Wiza Chrome extension now fits one-profile-at-a-time contact reveal beside full LinkedIn and Sales Navigator profiles, followed by a Wiza-list or CRM handoff. It no longer supports bulk export or multi-select from LinkedIn search, list, or company pages. Buyers who still expect Sales Navigator bulk export should reject that premise before comparing plans.
Wiza Chrome Extension Quick Facts
Wiza's official installation guide supports Chrome, with the same Chromium extension installed in Edge and Brave. The extension is optional for Wiza Prospect or CSV-based workflows.
| Decision factor | Current first-party position | Buyer implication |
|---|---|---|
| Current LinkedIn workflow | One full profile at a time | Search-page bulk capture is no longer available |
| Sales Navigator | Open the full profile | Preview panes are not read |
| Valid email | 1 email credit | Reveal cost is visible before save |
| Phone result | 1 phone credit | Phone budget is separate |
| Risky email | Free according to Wiza | Free does not make it acceptable for sending |
| Destinations | Wiza list and named CRM connections | Test create, match, update, and owner behavior |
Install the Current Extension With Named Access
The official Chrome listing uses extension ID pjmlkdacmaejhkdcflncbpcpidkggoio. Wiza documents Add to Chrome followed by Add extension. Edge and Brave users install the same listing through their Chromium browser.
The current manifest uses a side panel and targets LinkedIn pages for its active content script. It also declares optional broader web access. Treat those permissions as technical reach, not proof that every accessible field is collected or that LinkedIn authorizes the workflow.
Require named Wiza and browser accounts. Record the extension version, requested access, installation owner, approved browser, and offboarding route. A later update can change permissions or behavior while keeping the same listing.
Use the Current One-Profile Workflow
Wiza's August 2026 extension update removed bulk export and multi-select from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter search, list, and company pages for every account and plan. The current extension works from full person and company profiles. In Sales Navigator, the user must open the full profile because Wiza says it does not read preview panes.
From the side panel, a user selects which contact details to reveal, reviews the expected credit cost, and can add the contact to a Wiza list. Wiza Prospect, CSV upload, or CRM import now handles broader list building.
Older Wiza help pages still mention Sales Navigator search or list export. The newer removal notice should control the buying decision. Do not purchase the extension based on an old tutorial or review that promises bulk Sales Navigator export.
Understand Wiza Credits and Verification Labels
Wiza's contact reveal guide says a Valid email costs one email credit. A contact with at least one phone number costs one phone credit. Risky emails are free, while an Opted out result means Wiza will not make the person's contact information available.
Wiza uses Valid and Risky email labels. It says Valid addresses have been verified, while Risky means deliverability could not be confirmed. The documented process can consider syntax, domain, mail server, catch-all, disposable, role, spam-trap, greylisting, and other risk checks.
Keep those raw labels. A Risky result does not become usable because the reveal was free, and a Valid result does not establish consent or future inbox placement. Our opinion is that Valid can proceed only after source, audience, suppression, and ownership checks. Risky should remain held unless the team's written policy allows a separate test.
Compare Monthly and Annual Credit Models
The current Wiza pricing page showed Free at $0, Starter at $49 per user each month with 100 valid emails and 100 phones, Email at $99 with 500 valid emails, and Email + Phone at $199 with 500 of each. Team pricing is custom.
Annual pricing used a different meter for the Email and Email + Phone tiers. It displayed $83 per user each month billed at $990 per year for Email and $166 billed at $1,990 per year for Email + Phone. Those annual plans advertised unlimited applicable one-by-one reveals plus 2,500 export credits per month for bulk or list operations.
The free plan includes a one-time allowance of 20 valid emails and 5 phones that does not reset. Monthly plan credits reset on the billing date. Wiza currently states monthly overage rates of $0.15 per valid email and $0.35 per phone-enriched contact.
| Meter | Current public rule |
|---|---|
| One-profile Valid email | 1 email credit |
| One-profile phone result | 1 phone credit |
| Risky email | No email credit |
| Annual bulk or list operation | 1 export credit per prospect |
| Annual export with no email | Still 1 export credit per contact |
Confirm the exact plan, billing cycle, user count, overage setting, tax, and export-credit behavior at checkout. Monthly fixed-credit and annual unlimited-reveal plans are not interchangeable.
Test Lists, Exports, and CRM Actions
Wiza lists can produce an email-only text file or a richer CSV. Current documentation also names HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, and Attio actions from the profile side panel, with Zapier and Clay routes available elsewhere.
Connection behavior varies. Test whether Wiza matches an existing record, creates a person, updates fields, preserves ownership, handles duplicates, and reports permission failures. Do not describe this as current bulk export from Sales Navigator. The bulk source is now Wiza Prospect, CSV, or CRM import.
Our outbound services connect research, verification, suppression, CRM ownership, sequencing, and reply handling. The extension should preserve that chain and make each credit and write attributable to a named user.
Keep the LinkedIn Policy Boundary Visible
Wiza's pricing footer says the company is not affiliated with or authorized by LinkedIn or Microsoft. A product update described as matching tighter rules does not constitute LinkedIn approval.
LinkedIn's prohibited software guidance says it does not permit third-party browser plug-ins or extensions that scrape, modify the service, or automate activity. Its User Agreement separately prohibits specified scraping, unauthorized automated access or contact downloading, overlays, and bypassing access controls or use limits.
Describe Wiza's current capability without calling it LinkedIn-approved, authorized, compliant, or account-safe. If procurement cannot produce current authorization for the exact behavior, hold the LinkedIn surface and use a different source route.
Decide Whether Wiza Fits
Wiza fits reps who want one-at-a-time contact reveal and CRM action beside full profiles, plus teams willing to build larger lists inside Wiza Prospect or through controlled imports. It can be useful where the organization has clear rules for Valid, Risky, Opted out, duplicate, and owner outcomes.
Reject it if the core requirement is bulk Sales Navigator export from the extension. Hold it if LinkedIn policy exposure is unacceptable, browser permissions cannot be approved, or the team cannot predict monthly versus annual credit behavior.
Use our outbound resources to define a matched sample and accepted-record policy before comparing Wiza with other data tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
A modern outbound stack includes: data enrichment (Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo), email infrastructure (Google Workspace, custom domains), sending tools (Smartlead, Instantly), warm-up services (Warmbox), LinkedIn automation (Expandi, Dripify), CRM integration (HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics platforms. Most agencies use 15–30 tools orchestrated together.
Building your own stack costs $3K–5K/month in software alone, plus a dedicated person to manage it. With a managed service, you get all the tooling plus the expertise to orchestrate it, often at lower total cost. The key question: can you afford to spend 6–8 weeks setting up instead of generating pipeline?
There's no single 'best' tool. It depends on your volume, budget, and integration needs. Smartlead and Instantly are popular for high-volume sending. Apollo doubles as a data and sequencing platform. The real advantage comes from how tools are orchestrated together, not from any single tool choice.
Look for three things: (1) Do you own the infrastructure they build? (2) Are the engagement terms clear, including what happens after the initial build-and-learn period? (3) Can you see transparent metrics and real case studies with specific numbers? LeadHaste starts with a three-month engagement, then moves month-to-month. Avoid vague reporting and providers that own your domains.
Data enrichment is the process of taking basic company or contact data and adding layers of detail: job titles, direct emails, phone numbers, technographics, intent signals, company size, funding stage, and more. Enrichment tools like Apollo, Clay, and ZoomInfo pull from multiple data sources to build a complete prospect profile before outreach begins.
