Unify GTM Review 2026: Signals, AI Agents, Pricing, and Buyer Fit

Summarize with AI

Unify GTM fits teams that want list building, enrichment, signals, research, sequencing, and CRM actions in one workspace. Small teams can test the self-service plans, but signal-triggered automation, research agents, write-enabled CRM sync, and the broadest controls point toward the custom-priced Business tier. Buyers should model variable credit use and approval paths before treating Unify as an autonomous outbound operator.

Unify GTM Quick Facts

The official Unify agents page describes agents for list building, research, qualification, and sequence execution. Unify's documentation adds the operating detail: signals can create audiences, research agents can answer configured questions, and agentic sequences can draft recipient-specific messages and task notes.

Understand What the Agents Can Do

Unify Chat documentation says Chat can research companies, build lists, prepare outreach, and create or update CRM records. A user can instruct Chat to show proposed changes and wait for approval. That approval behavior depends on the instruction rather than being assumed for every action.

The agentic sequence guide explains that drafts created through Chat or list workflows enter a review queue. Enrollment from an individual person record can begin without separate draft approval. A buyer who needs mandatory approval must therefore test every entry route and remove any route that bypasses the policy.

Research agents are a Business feature. They answer configured company or person questions and can route records based on qualification criteria. Unify tells users to test sample records and review supporting research. That is the right operating model: the agent proposes an answer, while a controlled sample establishes whether the source and reasoning are good enough for the decision.

Evaluate Signals by Identity and Timing

Unify's signals overview covers website activity, job changes, target-account rules, and CRM data as inputs to audiences or plays. Website and product events can come from Unify's intent client, Segment, or PostHog.

Anonymous website identification is company-level, not person-level. The website visitor documentation says identifying a person requires an identify event containing an email address. Events usually take one to two minutes to appear, duplicate sources can create duplicate activity, and browser or referrer limits can leave campaign fields empty.

That makes identity quality more important than the number of signal types. A play should state what entity the signal identifies, how fresh it is, which exclusion list applies, and who owns the next action. Do not turn a company page view into a claim about an unnamed individual.

Model Pricing and Credit Consumption

The current Unify pricing page lists Free at $0, Base at $20 per seat per month, and Pro at $60 per seat per month. Business is custom-priced and billed annually.

PlanPublic pricePublished credit positionMaterial boundary
Free$0Limited, no public numeric allowanceUp to 3 seats
Base$20 per seat monthly800 per seat monthlyCore data and AI email work
Pro$60 per seat monthly2,400 per seat monthlyRead-only CRM sync and Slack alerts
BusinessCustomCustom annual workspace poolSignals, plays, read/write CRM, API, webhooks

Email enrichment averages one credit per record but may reach ten. Phone enrichment averages four and may reach twenty. Research, signals, and deeper agent work can add more. When available credits are exhausted, credit-consuming work pauses rather than creating automatic overage charges, though an active automation may finish its current step.

One public inconsistency needs written clarification. The pricing page describes job-change and hiring signals under Base, while current documentation labels named champion and new-hire tracking products as Business-only. Do not budget those specific automated workflows on Base without confirmation from Unify.

Our opinion is that buyers should price one accepted, action-ready account rather than one searched record. Include enrichment misses, repeated signal checks, research steps, exclusions, CRM duplicates, and rejected drafts in that calculation.

Check Sending and CRM Limits

Unify's sending-limit documentation says new managed mailboxes default to 25 sends per day, while newly connected work mailboxes default to 150. The standard maximum is 150 sends per 24 hours across sequences using that mailbox. Managed warm-up takes about three weeks, and configured ramp-up can increase capacity by five sends per day.

Unify's 150-send setting controls platform throughput only. The team still owns authentication, list quality, suppression, message relevance, provider rules, and the decision to enroll each recipient.

The official integration overview documents native routes for Salesforce, HubSpot, Gmail, Slack, Segment, PostHog, and several signal providers. Marketing references 40+ data sources, but that should not be restated as 40+ native integrations.

Pro offers read-only Salesforce or HubSpot sync. Business adds read/write behavior. Before enabling writes, test field ownership, create-versus-update rules, duplicate handling, error routing, and rollback. Our outbound services connect these controls across research, sending, CRM ownership, and reply handling.

Unify's current customer terms make the customer responsible for message timing, frequency, content, lawful outreach, consent, and opt-outs. They also disclaim warranties that third-party data is accurate, complete, current, reliable, error-free, or lawfully collected.

The Privacy Policy says some disclosures may qualify as a sale or share under state law and that Unify may be considered a data broker in some states. It separately states that Google Workspace API data is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Procurement should also confirm which terms govern self-service purchases. The self-service terms are older than the general customer terms and include automatic renewal at the then-current non-promotional rate unless disabled.

Who Should Buy Unify GTM?

Base or Pro can fit a small team that wants consolidated list building, enrichment, AI copy support, sequencing, and a limited CRM connection at a transparent seat price. Before considering Business, ask Unify to price the exact signal checks, research steps, CRM writes, and credit pool in the proposed play.

Hold the purchase when predictable per-record cost is mandatory, Business functionality needs public list pricing, real-time person identity is assumed from anonymous traffic, or the team lacks an owner for compliance and CRM writes. Unify can coordinate many outbound steps, but it does not remove the need to govern them.

Use our outbound resources to define the acceptance test before the demo. Ask Unify to run that exact test in the proposed tier and return the credit ledger, source evidence, draft-review path, and CRM result.

Frequently Asked Questions

A strong positive reply rate for B2B cold email is 1.5–3%. Top-performing campaigns with tight targeting and personalized copy can hit 4–5%. If you're below 1%, it usually signals a deliverability or messaging problem, not a volume problem.

The safe range is 30–50 emails per inbox per day for warmed inboxes. That's why outbound systems use multiple inboxes (we use 80) to reach 40,000+ monthly sends while keeping each inbox well within safe limits. Sending more than 50/day from a single inbox risks spam folder placement.

Yes. The CAN-SPAM Act permits unsolicited commercial email as long as you include a physical address, an unsubscribe mechanism, accurate headers, and non-deceptive subject lines. Unlike GDPR in Europe, the US does not require prior opt-in consent for B2B cold outreach.

Domain warm-up typically takes 2–3 weeks. During this period, sending volume gradually increases while the email warm-up tool generates positive engagement signals (opens, replies) to build sender reputation. Skipping or rushing warm-up is the most common cause of deliverability problems.

Cold email is targeted, relevant outreach to a specific person based on their role, industry, or company, with a clear business reason. Spam is untargeted mass messaging with no personalization or relevance. The distinction matters legally (CAN-SPAM compliance) and practically (deliverability depends on relevance signals).
