Relevance AI Alternatives for AI Workforces and Outbound Agents

Summarize with AI

The right Relevance AI alternative depends on why its visual Workforces are a poor fit. Choose Lindy for a Slack-centered teammate, Gumloop for built-in browser execution, Bardeen for focused prospect research, or n8n for deterministic workflows and self-hosting. Relevance AI remains the strongest option in this group when specialist agents and conditional handoffs are required, with approval configured at the tool level.

Relevance AI Alternatives Compared

We checked current first-party documentation, product pages, and pricing on October 26, 2026. Prices below use different meters and cannot be normalized from the cards alone.

Set the Relevance AI Baseline

Relevance AI's Workforces documentation describes teams of specialist agents on a visual canvas. Handoffs can be fixed, conditional, mandatory, or AI-decided. That model suits a process where research, qualification, drafting, and record updates need separate owners and visible transitions.

Approval is configurable per tool. Auto Run executes without review. Approval Required pauses for a person's decision, while Let Agent Decide delegates the choice to the agent. A safe outbound pilot places every external send and CRM mutation in Approval Required.

The sales page positions agents for research, enrichment, outbound prospecting, scheduling, proposals, forecasting, and CRM work. These are advertised use cases, not proof of accuracy or a complete sending system.

Current pricing documentation lists Pro at $19 per month annually or $29 monthly with 2,500 Actions and $20 in Vendor Credits. Team is $234 annually per month or $349 monthly with 7,000 Actions and $70 in Vendor Credits. The marketing pricing page shows only Enterprise, so confirm in-product availability.

Replace Relevance AI when its multi-agent canvas adds more setup than the job needs or browser work should be native. It is also a poor fit when a technical owner wants deterministic code and hosting control.

Lindy for a Slack-Centered Teammate

Lindy defines routines through a trigger and prompt, with a destination for the result. Scheduled events, messages, calendar events, and completed meetings can start a routine. Dry runs carry out reads and judgment but suppress writes and sends.

This operating model is easier for a sales manager who wants pipeline review or research drafts inside Slack. It also supports CRM upkeep. It does not provide the same visible specialist-agent map as Relevance AI.

Lindy's integration controls can always allow or remove a write. They can also require approval. Approval is limited to shared Slack threads and does not apply in web chat, Slack direct messages, iMessage, or SMS. A team that needs mandatory review across every surface should prefer Relevance AI's selected-tool control or add another gate.

Current Lindy pricing starts Team at $29.99 per active user per month with 3,000 credits in a shared pool. Research depth and tool calls affect consumption. Long conversation context also uses credits. Packaging names also conflict between public pricing and documentation.

Lindy removes the visual workforce layer, which is useful only when one conversational operator can own the entire routine.

Gumloop for Built-In Browser Work

Gumloop includes a signed-in Chromium browser that can render JavaScript, fill forms, download files, replay actions, and hand control to a person. Relevance AI documents browser automation through a connected Airtop account and API key, which adds a separate vendor and meter.

Gumloop's human review controls include Ask each time, Ask for writes and deletes, Never allow, and custom settings. Always allow is the default, so procurement must evaluate configuration rather than the existence of the control.

Gumloop pricing lists Pro at $37 per month with 20,000 credits and an 8% orchestration fee. Credits generally do not roll over outside Enterprise. Sales product evidence supports research, enrichment, qualification, routing, and draft follow-up, not a full mailbox and deliverability layer.

Gumloop is the better alternative when signed-in websites are frequent execution targets. Relevance AI stays ahead when specialist-agent composition and enterprise event export matter more than a native browser.

Bardeen for a Narrow Prospecting Job

Bardeen's scraper handles browser extraction, pagination, forms, and exports. Its enrichment product adds contact and company fields. The focused workflow suits a team that needs researched rows for a spreadsheet or CRM before passing them to a sequencer, rather than a general AI workforce.

The narrower product also means a narrower control surface. Public evidence does not establish per-action approval for every message or CRM write. Reviewing an execution plan before work begins is not the same as reviewing every external side effect.

Bardeen pricing lists Basic at $10 monthly with 100 credits and Premium at $50 with 1,000. Ordinary output rows generally use one credit and enrichment rows use three. The public annual display contains allowance and free-credit inconsistencies, so confirm any higher-volume package.

Bardeen can replace the research stage of a Relevance AI workforce. It is not a direct replacement for multi-agent handoffs or evaluation sampling. It also lacks enterprise audit export as a direct replacement.

n8n for Deterministic Workflow Ownership

n8n is the strongest alternative when technical RevOps wants explicit branches, retries, code extensions, queue control, and a self-hosted route. Selected AI tool calls can pause for human review through supported messaging channels.

Workflows export as JSON. A preview package format can include folders and projects with their dependencies, while Git-backed environments require Business or Enterprise. Exported files can reveal credential names and IDs. They can also expose imported authentication headers, so portability needs security controls.

Annual pricing starts at €20 per month for 2,500 executions. Pro is €50 for 10,000. Business is €667 for 40,000 and self-hosted use. Models, enrichment, browser services, hosting, and engineering time remain separate costs.

n8n gives up Relevance AI's sales-oriented agent canvas and ready-made workforce vocabulary. It gains deterministic ownership and a broader engineering surface.

Compare Governance and Exit Before Features

Relevance AI Enterprise can stream audit logs and execution traces in OpenTelemetry format to customer S3. Optional personal-data redaction happens at export and does not cover live conversations or data stored internally. Standard-format data exports do not prove that every agent definition, credential, history, and log moves to another platform.

Gumloop documents an Enterprise organization export that includes agents, workflows, interactions, credit logs, and evaluations. Lindy public pages do not establish a complete workspace or audit-log export. Bardeen supports data output but not portable executable agents. n8n's JSON workflow route is the most inspectable, though dependencies and credentials need care.

None of these products has enough inspected first-party evidence for a complete cold email layer covering lawful sourcing, authentication, warmup, suppression, complaints, sender reputation, and reply operations. Keep that work outside the agent comparison.

Our Relevance AI review covers Workforces, approvals, pricing, and governance in depth. Our Relevance AI pricing guide explains the two consumption meters, while our outbound services show how the automation layer fits inside a client-owned system.

Frequently Asked Questions

A modern outbound stack includes: data enrichment (Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo), email infrastructure (Google Workspace, custom domains), sending tools (Smartlead, Instantly), warm-up services (Warmbox), LinkedIn automation (Expandi, Dripify), CRM integration (HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics platforms. Most agencies use 15–30 tools orchestrated together.

Building your own stack costs $3K–5K/month in software alone, plus a dedicated person to manage it. With a managed service, you get all the tooling plus the expertise to orchestrate it, often at lower total cost. The key question: can you afford to spend 6–8 weeks setting up instead of generating pipeline?

There's no single 'best' tool. It depends on your volume, budget, and integration needs. Smartlead and Instantly are popular for high-volume sending. Apollo doubles as a data and sequencing platform. The real advantage comes from how tools are orchestrated together, not from any single tool choice.

Look for three things: (1) Do you own the infrastructure they build? (2) Are the engagement terms clear, including what happens after the initial build-and-learn period? (3) Can you see transparent metrics and real case studies with specific numbers? LeadHaste starts with a three-month engagement, then moves month-to-month. Avoid vague reporting and providers that own your domains.

Data enrichment is the process of taking basic company or contact data and adding layers of detail: job titles, direct emails, phone numbers, technographics, intent signals, company size, funding stage, and more. Enrichment tools like Apollo, Clay, and ZoomInfo pull from multiple data sources to build a complete prospect profile before outreach begins.
