Inboxkit review

The inbox provider we picked after testing five others — fast setup, clean UI, real API, and the best support in the category.

Inboxkit provisions US-IP Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes for cold email at scale. Automated DNS, built-in isolated warmup, InfraGuard monitoring, and native integrations with every major sequencer. After running 5–6 providers across different clients, this is the one we now recommend by default.

Our verdict

The bottom line on Inboxkit.

We've used five or six different inbox providers across various clients. Every one of them had a significant friction point — slow provisioning, broken DNS automation, clunky dashboards, unresponsive support, hidden fees, or infrastructure that degraded over time. Inboxkit genuinely doesn't have any of those. The UI is clean, the end-to-end flow is fast, pricing is in line with the category, the API is better than any competitor we've tested, support responds quickly, and the team ships new features consistently. We've been looking for the catch — haven't found one.

Best for

  • Agencies provisioning 50+ mailboxes per new client and tired of slow, manual setup flows
  • Teams that want an API-first inbox provider to wire into Clay, n8n, or custom ops tooling
  • Anyone who's been burned by shared-infrastructure inbox providers and wants proper US-IP Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts
  • Operators running high-volume cold email who need isolated per-mailbox warmup

Not for

  • Teams only needing 1–3 mailboxes for transactional or single-operator sending (overkill — regular Google Workspace direct is fine)
  • Buyers looking for a free trial — Inboxkit launches on the Professional plan ($39/mo, 10 mailboxes) instead

Deep dive

Our experience with Inboxkit.

Why we picked Inboxkit after testing five others

Every cold email operation eventually hits the same bottleneck: you need dozens or hundreds of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes, and you need them on real infrastructure that doesn't degrade over time. The inbox provider market has grown to cover this — and we've worked with five to six different providers across client engagements. Each had a serious problem: inconsistent DNS automation, slow support when something broke, dashboards that made bulk management painful, shared infrastructure that invisibly throttled deliverability, or pricing games that changed mid-contract.

Inboxkit is the first one where, after months of use across multiple clients, we haven't had to write a workaround or send a support ticket about a real issue. That's unusual. We've been deliberately looking for the catch.

What actually matters

The features on the landing page (automated DNS, warmup, monitoring, API) are table stakes in 2026 — most providers claim them. What Inboxkit does differently is execution. DNS actually lands cleanly on the first try. Quick Setup really does get a mailbox live in under a minute. The API is genuinely full — not a limited subset of endpoints behind 'contact sales'. When something does come up, support replies within hours with someone who understands cold email, not a generic first-tier ticket handler.

The API is the real differentiator

For agencies or anyone building custom ops tooling, the API is where Inboxkit separates from the pack. Full REST with webhooks, comprehensive coverage of mailbox and domain management, and it's included on every plan — not gated behind Enterprise. We use it inside n8n workflows to auto-provision mailboxes when a new client signs, auto-assign them to Smartlead, and trigger warmup kickoff without anyone touching the Inboxkit dashboard. That kind of automation is either impossible or painful on most competitors.

Where the stack fits

Inboxkit sits upstream of the sequencer. Domains get registered (we use Dynadot), mailboxes get provisioned on those domains (Inboxkit), isolated warmup runs for 2–3 weeks, then the mailboxes get connected to Smartlead and campaigns start. Inboxkit integrates natively with Smartlead, Instantly, Apollo, Reply, Lemlist, and 20+ other sequencers — no copy-pasting credentials, no manual IMAP setup.

Pricing, honestly

Professional starts at $39/mo for 10 mailboxes ($31 on annual), Agency runs $81/mo for 30 mailboxes, and Enterprise drops per-mailbox cost to $2.50 on annual billing — the lowest rate we've seen for genuine US-IP Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts. Competitors like Mailforge, Primeforge, and Zapmail list similar or slightly lower per-mailbox rates, but we've had operational issues on each that Inboxkit has resolved for us. That reliability is worth the occasional $0.25/mailbox/month difference.

Inboxkit FAQ

Frequently asked questions

All four are in the same category. We've tested multiple. The per-mailbox pricing is close enough that it isn't the deciding factor. What's pushed us to Inboxkit is execution: DNS automation that actually works on the first try, support that replies with real answers, a proper API on every plan, and a UI that doesn't make bulk management painful. When you're managing 100+ mailboxes, reliability compounds.
