Scraping marketplaces are the silent layer of a real outbound stack. Most outbound work eventually hits a moment where the data you need doesn't exist in any pre-packaged tool — niche industry directories, specific local registries, public profile data not exposed via standard APIs, signals that mainstream enrichment platforms haven't bothered to wrap. Building scrapers from scratch for these is expensive and ongoing. Buying access to pre-built scrapers from a marketplace is faster, cheaper, and someone else handles the maintenance.

We use both RapidAPI and Apify actively. They're complementary rather than competitive — different strengths, different inventories, different audiences. Our default workflow is to check both whenever a new scraping need shows up, and pick based on availability and pricing for the specific use case.
