AimFox review
Where we're migrating our LinkedIn outreach — same safety as HeyReach, more features, better pricing, and profile renting.
AimFox is a LinkedIn automation platform that has caught up to HeyReach on safety while pulling ahead on feature depth, pricing, and profile renting. We're actively migrating our LinkedIn workflows from HeyReach to AimFox because the gaps have grown to the point where it's worth the switching cost on new campaigns.
Last reviewed April 2026
The bottom line on AimFox.
AimFox is the LinkedIn automation tool we're moving toward. Two years ago this would've been a different review — HeyReach's safety record and agency tooling were genuinely ahead of the field. AimFox has spent that time closing the safety gap (now matched, in our production usage) and pulling ahead on three dimensions that matter: feature depth and shipping cadence, pricing aggressiveness, and profile renting. The last point is the biggest specific differentiator. Being able to rent verified aged LinkedIn profiles instead of risking client or personal profiles changes the math for agencies running high-volume LinkedIn campaigns. For new evaluations in 2026, AimFox is our default recommendation.
Best for
- ✓Agencies running multi-client LinkedIn outreach who want better pricing and feature depth than HeyReach offers
- ✓Teams that want profile renting capability — the ability to use rented verified profiles instead of risking client or personal accounts
- ✓Operators starting LinkedIn outreach in 2026 with no prior tool commitment — AimFox is our default for new evaluations
- ✓High-volume agencies whose effective sending capacity is constrained by available LinkedIn profiles
- ✓Buyers who want the most current AI-driven personalization features in a LinkedIn automation tool
Not for
- ✕Teams already on HeyReach with active campaigns and meaningful switching costs (no urgent reason to migrate immediately)
- ✕Operators who specifically value HeyReach's tenure or established integrations over AimFox's newer feature set
- ✕Anyone unwilling to evaluate at least two LinkedIn tools — both HeyReach and AimFox are credible, and a fast picker shouldn't skip the comparison
What AimFox actually does.
What AimFox costs.
- Single account at a meaningfully lower entry price than HeyReach
- All sequence features included
- Unibox + AI personalization
- No artificial feature gating at the entry tier
- Multiple LinkedIn accounts at a fraction of HeyReach's agency pricing
- Agency-level features and reporting
- Profile renting available
- Where most agency users land
- More accounts and rented-profile capacity
- Premium support
- Dedicated infrastructure for high-volume campaigns
- Comparable to HeyReach Unlimited at meaningfully lower cost
- Rent verified aged LinkedIn profiles
- Expand sending capacity without risking own/client accounts
- Charged per rented profile in addition to base subscription
- The capability HeyReach doesn't offer at all
The honest take.
- Safety architecture matches HeyReach's bar — both tools clear our production-safety threshold, which is the baseline criterion in this category
- More features than HeyReach at this point — the shipping cadence has shifted in AimFox's favor over the past stretch and the gap is now meaningful
- Better pricing — at comparable account volumes, AimFox is meaningfully cheaper than HeyReach, especially for agencies running multi-client campaigns
- Profile renting is a real differentiator — being able to use rented verified aged LinkedIn profiles changes the math on high-volume LinkedIn outreach for agencies who don't want to risk client or personal accounts
- AI-driven personalization features are ahead of HeyReach in both quality and shipping pace
- Same agency-grade multi-account orchestration as HeyReach — none of the agency-tooling regression that newer entrants in the category sometimes have
- Newer in the category than HeyReach — for teams that specifically value tool tenure as a risk-management factor, this is a real consideration
- Migration cost is real for teams already on HeyReach — established workflows, integrations, and sequence libraries don't transfer cleanly without rebuild effort
- Profile renting is powerful but adds operational complexity — rented profiles need to be managed differently than your own, and the cost-per-rented-profile factors into your total LinkedIn spend
Our experience with AimFox.
AimFox is the LinkedIn outreach tool we're migrating to. The story is straightforward: HeyReach was our default for the past stretch because its safety architecture was ahead of the field. AimFox has spent that time closing the safety gap (now matched, in our production-volume usage) and pulling ahead on features, pricing, and profile renting. For new client campaigns in 2026, AimFox is our default recommendation.
Same safety, more features, better pricing
The pitch is exactly that simple. AimFox's safety architecture matches HeyReach's bar in our usage — both tools clear the threshold for production-safe LinkedIn automation, which is the baseline criterion that disqualifies most other tools in this category. Once safety is matched, the comparison comes down to feature depth, pricing, and capability deltas. AimFox wins on all three: more features and faster shipping cadence, meaningfully lower pricing at agency volumes, and profile renting that HeyReach doesn't offer.
Why profile renting changes the math
Profile renting is the single biggest specific differentiator. The mechanic is straightforward: AimFox lets you rent verified aged LinkedIn profiles instead of using your own or your clients'. For an agency running high-volume LinkedIn campaigns, this changes the calculus in two ways. First, it expands effective sending capacity beyond the limits of any single profile — you're no longer constrained by what one or two LinkedIn accounts can safely send. Second, it removes profile risk from the equation: a rented profile can be replaced if something goes sideways, but a client's personal profile can't.
There's a cost component to this — rented profiles are charged in addition to base subscription — but for agencies running real volume, the unit economics work in profile renting's favor compared to running outreach exclusively through owned accounts.
Pricing comparison vs HeyReach
At comparable account counts, AimFox is meaningfully cheaper than HeyReach. The entry tier is roughly $49 vs $79; the agency tier is roughly $499 vs $999. For agencies running multi-client campaigns, this differential adds up to thousands of dollars per year — not enough to override safety concerns, but more than enough to matter once safety is matched. The pricing wedge is one of the three reasons we're migrating; combined with the feature depth and profile renting capabilities, it's enough to justify the switching cost on new campaigns.
Why we're not migrating overnight
HeyReach continues to perform on existing campaigns. Disrupting working campaigns to chase a feature gap rarely pays off in the short term, especially when the tools are both safe and both delivering results. Our migration is gradual: new client engagements default to AimFox, existing campaigns continue on HeyReach until natural transition points (campaign completions, contract renewals, scope changes). We expect to be fully migrated within the next stretch of campaigns.
Where AimFox fits in the broader stack
Upstream: lists come from Clay filtered for LinkedIn-active prospects, enriched with LeadMagic, TryKitt, or BetterContact for coordinated email campaigns. AimFox handles the LinkedIn touch — connection requests, messages, profile views, follow-ups, with optional rented profiles for high-volume needs. Downstream: replies route to a unibox; coordinated email touches run through Smartlead or Instantly. The integration story is comparable to HeyReach's, with the additional capability that profile renting unlocks.
AimFox alternatives worth comparing.
Frequently asked questions
For most new evaluations: AimFox. Same safety record as HeyReach in our production usage, more features at a faster shipping cadence, meaningfully cheaper pricing at agency scale, and profile renting capability that HeyReach doesn't offer. For teams already on HeyReach with active campaigns: no urgent reason to migrate immediately — both tools work — but AimFox is the right direction for new campaigns going forward.
